LOCATION: Shettler Elementary, 2187 Shettler Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444
POSITION: Noon Supervisor
HOURS: Monday-Friday – Student Days Only
3 hours per day, 15 hours per week
11:45 am to 2:45 pm
Option to pick up additional hours for breakfast/lunch.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience with elementary students is preferred.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
-
Supervise drop-off routine: manage student behaviors, breakfast in the cafeteria, drop-off lane, and playground.

Supervise lunch: manage student behaviors, wash tables, dismiss students to recess, etc.

Supervise recess: manage student behaviors, actively patrol the playground, dismiss students to line spots, etc.

Proactively build student relationships to mitigate student behaviors.

Hold students accountable to our STAR values/expectations.

Use school-wide incentives to acknowledge positive student behavior (STAR Tickets).

Subjectively respond to and record student misbehavior.
-
Assist students with minor first aid.

Work outside in winter conditions.

Other duties as assigned by the school administration.
