Duties
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale enterprise software projects utilizing Agile, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall, and other project management methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Project scheduling software to track progress, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and success criteria; translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Manage project lifecycle activities including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), release management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support.
- Oversee IT infrastructure components such as databases (SQL, Oracle), cloud computing platforms like AWS, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols to ensure system stability and compliance.
- Facilitate communication across teams using Jira, VersionOne, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools; prepare status reports for executive leadership.
- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies aligned with PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying analysis skills to optimize processes like Test-driven development (TDD), program management practices, and organizational workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex enterprise software projects within an IT environment; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management software including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint; familiarity with TFS (Team Foundation Server) is a plus.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks such as SAFe and Kanban; experience with Jira and VersionOne for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes, project scheduling techniques, and project management methodologies including PMBOK.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS; knowledge of IT infrastructure components including databases (SQL/Oracle) is essential.
- Excellent analysis skills for requirements gathering, risk assessment, and user acceptance testing coordination.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels; exceptional communication skills for clear reporting and negotiation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; adept at time management and organizational skills.
