Job Overview
This is a part-time teaching position of 4 hours per week. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Parent and Tot Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment tailored specifically for young children and their parents or guardians.
The class is every Wednesday from 9:15-11:15 with 2 hours of paid prep.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school connections.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR certifications.
- Skills
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddler care and early childhood education.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood development milestones, and special education strategies.
- Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour
