Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily HVAC/R installation, repair, and maintenance activities on commercial sites
- Lead field technicians in interpreting schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical specifications to ensure precise execution
- Oversee equipment repair tasks including refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning systems, and appliances using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a safe work environment for team members and clients
- Manage inventory of parts and tools necessary for HVAC/R projects; facilitate procurement when needed
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed work to guarantee optimal system performance and customer satisfaction
- Provide technical guidance on complex projects involving ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R troubleshooting
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction environments with a strong background in HVAC service technician roles or mechanical maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology, and property maintenance practices
- Hands-on experience with field service operations including appliance repair, boiler management, welding, and equipment repair
- Familiarity with specialized systems such as ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R applications; ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately
- Proficiency with testing tools like ohmmeters; capability to perform electrical diagnostics safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred for site transportation needs
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent leadership skills; ability to train and motivate team members effectively
- Ability to work in diverse environments requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment or working at heights

Pay: $62,268.74 - $105,000.00 per year
