Responsibilities
- Expedite food orders by coordinating between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to clarify orders, resolve issues, and maintain smooth workflow
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning to uphold consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Support bussing duties when necessary to ensure a clean dining environment for guests
- Handle food handling responsibilities with attention to safety protocols, including proper storage and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and organizational skills for order management
- Experience with banquet service, food expediting, or hotel culinary operations is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork
