The Membership Coordinator supports MSV's membership recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts by maintaining accurate membership data, providing exceptional member service, and supporting outreach, reporting, and events. This role serves as a primary point of contact for members and prospective members while helping ensure a positive member experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate membership records and ensure data integrity within the CRM.
- Serve as a primary contact for member and prospective member inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Support membership recruitment, renewals, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Prepare membership reports, mailing lists, and data to support outreach and organizational planning.
- Coordinate and support member events, including the organization’s Annual Meeting.
- Collaborate with internal teams on dues tracking, reporting, and process improvements.
- Participate in occasional in-state travel for member meetings and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in membership services, customer service, nonprofit, association, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience working with databases or CRM systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a membership association, nonprofit, or healthcare organization.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM platform.
- Experience with membership reporting, recruitment, retention, or engagement initiatives.
- Experience supporting meetings, events, or volunteer/member groups.
Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
