Join the Center for Early Success team as an Infant Toddler Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in strengthening early childhood education across Virginia. In this role, you will provide professional development, coaching, and training to early educators, helping increase the capacity of childcare centers and family day homes to deliver high-quality services to infants and toddlers.
Primary Purpose
The Infant Toddler Specialist is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training and professional development within a designated region, with a focus on supporting infants and toddlers.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Network Quality Coordinator to plan work scope and monitor timelines.
- Use data to plan and deliver VA ITSN services.
- Maintain accurate and timely records.
- Participate in staff meetings, including ITS orientation and other training sessions.
- Consult with the Network Quality Coordinator on a quarterly basis.
- Complete required training within the first year of employment.
- Provide coaching and support to infant and toddler caregivers, teachers, directors, and families to strengthen high-quality care and education.
- Deliver ongoing training and technical assistance using the finalized VA ITSN Professional Competency Testing Plan.
