Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations and construction projects across multiple properties and facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities, and has strong hands-on construction and carpentry experience.
The role offers flexibility for candidates interested in either a 4-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off travel schedule or full-time travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at assigned facilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction, renovation, and improvement projects
- Perform and direct general carpentry, repair, and maintenance work as needed
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and local maintenance teams
- Conduct facility inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Troubleshoot building, structural, and operational issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project progress
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and local building codes
Qualifications
- Strong background in construction, carpentry, and facility maintenance
- Experience managing construction or renovation projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of general building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Travel & Accommodations
This position requires significant travel to facilities located throughout our portfolio. Candidates may choose between:
- 4 weeks traveling / 2 weeks at home, or
- Full-time travel
The company provides:

- Lodging accommodations at each assignment
- Accommodations may include staff housing, company-provided housing, or hotel stays depending on the location
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who combines practical construction skills with the ability to manage projects and maintain facilities efficiently. They are comfortable traveling extensively, adapting to different environments, and taking ownership of both routine maintenance and larger construction initiatives.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
