Are you organized, dependable, and enjoy staying active throughout the day? A to Z Machine Company is looking for a Material Handler to help keep our shop running efficiently by ensuring materials, tooling, and finished parts are exactly where they need to be.
If you enjoy working with forklifts, collaborating with a team, and playing a vital role in manufacturing operations, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do:
Move and organize raw material, in-process, and finished parts
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Verify paperwork, create labels, and maintain inventory accuracy
Deliver materials, tooling, and supplies to machinists
Package parts and build skids or shipping containers as needed
Use Epicor and other computer systems to track material movement
Serve as the primary backup for local truck deliveries and pickups
Follow all 6S, ISO/quality, and safety procedures
You're a Great Fit If You Have:
High School Diploma or GED
Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
Forklift experience (or willingness to learn)
Basic computer skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Clean driving record and ability to serve as a backup delivery driver
