Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Radiology Imaging Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and supervision to students in the classroom settings. This role requires a strong background in radiologic patient care, radiographic positioning, radiologic medical terminology and the ability to effectively utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Follow and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assist in preparing students for their clinical rotations in various radiologic healthcare settings, ensuring adherence to safety radiologic protocols and best practices.
- Provide instruction on radiologic care procedures, and radiologic health principles.
- Assess student performance through evaluations, feedback, and practical demonstrations of skills.
- Collaborate with the Imaging Program Director and Clinical Coordinator to create a supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and professionalism.
- Stay current with advancements in Radiologic education and integrate relevant learning technology into teaching methods.
- Facilitate discussions on Radiologic care scenarios to enhance critical thinking and decision-making skills among students.
Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in inpatient, outpatient and the urgent care environments.
- Previous teaching or supervising experience in an inpatient or educational institution is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic medical terminology and radiographic patient care practices is essential.
- Familiarity with learning technologies that support educational delivery is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of students.
