We are looking for an experienced, driven Account Manager to grow our Packaging and Supplies program in the Washington and Oregon market. The ideal candidate brings a proven sales background, a self-starting and hunter mentality, and genuine relationship-building skills. What You Will Do
As an Account Manager, you will own a territory and drive growth across grocery, food service, convenience store, and processor accounts. Here is a look at what you will do:
- Promote GVH's Packaging and Supplies program to new and existing customers across grocery, food service, convenience store, and processor accounts.
- Open new accounts and grow sales through consistent follow-up and relationship building.
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships, promoting additional products along the way.
- Visit assigned accounts on a scheduled rotation, providing advance weekly schedules and post-visit reports to your Territory Manager.
- Respond to customer questions and requests promptly, acknowledging all emails and voicemails within 24 hours.
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager and Procurement team to keep customers informed on fill rates and order status.
- Meet regularly with GVH leadership to align on grocery, food service, processor and convenience store account growth.
- Become proficient in GVH's software systems.
- Complete required paperwork, reports, and new item forms accurately and on time.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Three or more years of experience in customer service, sales, or territory management preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- An outgoing personality that puts customers at ease and builds trust quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- A self-starting, independent mentality with a strong work ethic and follow-through.

Position Details
- Pay: $60,000 to $90,000 annual salary, based on experience, with bonus incentive opportunities.
- Company car provided for business use, plus a laptop, cell phone, and business cards.
- Eligibility for the annual company-wide profit-sharing program.
- 401(k) with company match and paid sick and vacation time off.
- Health insurance with GVH covering a sizeable portion of premiums.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site at our Lacey, WA branch.
