Responsibilities
- Trouble shoot electronic and electrical issues with a volt meter
- Perform routine pool and spa maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, balancing chemicals, and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and repair pool and spa equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automation systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections of pool components to identify mechanical issues or potential failures before they become major problems.
- Assist with opening and closing pools or spas seasonally, ensuring all systems are properly prepared for use or storage.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients about maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and recommended repairs to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety guidelines at all times while handling chemicals, electrical components, or heavy equipment.
Skills
- You must know how to work a volt meter to diagnose repairs to do this job
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool equipment components.
- Experience with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, balancing chemicals, and inspecting systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for repairs and installations.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a related maintenance role is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics related to pool systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
