Responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines and programs to make specified high quality manufactured parts according to customer specifications.
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years in a machine shop with 2+ Years programming tool paths.
- Advanced proficiency in G and M code.

Advanced proficiency with inspection tools.
- Previous experience working with large Okuma and Megabore machines.
- Ability to work in Vernal, UT on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

Program tool paths using CAD/CAM software.

Operate CNC Machines as directed.
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls as required.

Inspect, measure, and gauge completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

Debur and clean finished product/tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Programming experience, any language.

Fixture design.
- Advanced proficiency with computers.
- Highly organized.

- Self-motivated, responsible, and disciplined.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
