Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items following safety and quality standards, operating kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to sanitation, safety, and cleanliness to maintain a clean workspace.
- Process cash transactions and handle cash register operations with precision, ensuring accurate processing of retail sales transactions.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a tidy dining area and kitchen station, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food preparation and serving procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and transactions efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and create a positive dining experience.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper handling of food products.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing register operations accurately.
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus for understanding sales processes.
