About the Role
Techy is a national phone and electronics repair franchise with 300 retail service centers inside BrandsMart USA locations across South Florida. We are actively hiring for 3 locations and looking for skilled, motivated Repair Technicians to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be diagnosing and repairing smartphones, tablets, and consumer electronics for walk-in customers in a high-traffic retail environment.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair cell phones, tablets, and consumer electronics (screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and more)
- Handle warranty-based repairs on behalf of insurance providers
- Deliver fast, professional, and friendly customer service
- Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and job completion in our system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area
- Upsell accessories and protection plans when appropriate
Requirements
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (Good to have— our customer base is highly diverse)
- Prior experience repairing cell phones or consumer electronics (Good to have)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Honest, punctual, and customer-focused attitude
Nice to Have
- Experience working with insurance or warranty repair programs
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
