Foreclosure AttorneyPosition Summary
Our growing legal team is seeking a motivated and experienced Foreclosure Attorney to oversee residential foreclosure matters from initiation through final resolution. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys managing litigation, providing practical legal guidance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. The successful candidate will be highly organized, confident in the courtroom, and committed to delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle foreclosure cases through every stage of the legal process, from initial filings to final judgment.
- Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, notices, affidavits, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Represent clients during hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other court proceedings.
- Research legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law using platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis to support successful case outcomes.
- Communicate and negotiate with borrowers, lenders, opposing counsel, and other parties to pursue efficient resolutions whenever appropriate.
- Maintain organized case files, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.
- Work closely with paralegals and administrative staff to support efficient case management and workflow.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of two years of experience practicing foreclosure law, real estate law, or a closely related field preferred.
- Demonstrated litigation experience, including bench trial experience.
- Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Experience using legal research platforms, including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communicator with strong negotiation and client relationship skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
