Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Hematology Oncology Clinic
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shift (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Setting: Podiatric Clinic
Key Responsibilities
- Performs surgery education, fracture care education, and other patient care education.
- Triaging of patient phone calls: assessing and prioritizing incoming calls to assures safe and timely care is given.
- Managing of PT/INRs for surgical patients pre/post-surgical. Submitting prescriptions as directed by provider.
- Completing and reviewing FMLA, disability, and forms that need the provider’s attention before submitting. Scheduling surgeries.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an outpatient clinic.
- Experience with clinic duties including triage, scheduling, and procedures.
- Active Wisconsin RN License required (compact)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
