We're seeking per diem/on-call Physical Therapist Assistants to join a lively team of in-house therapists at a skilled nursing facility in Jackson!
Our rehab team at the 140-bed boasts of an experienced team of professionals and administrative staff who are able to provide high-quality care and support to our residents and family members, while simultaneously supporting each other in our exciting, high-caseload setting.

- On-call
Key Responsibilities :
- Implements and executes on established patient treatment plan under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Provides timely documentation via the electronic documentation software as required that meet licensing, certification regulatory, reimbursement requirements and physician treatment plan.
- Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations.
- Communicates with patients, families and other clinical staff of treatment variations.
- Supports and participates in department operations and development.
- Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in the state of CA as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred, but not required.
- Able to use the computer for the purposes of accessing and utilizing electronic medical documentation.
- Familiarity with Nethealth (previously Rehab Optima)
- Able to work as both independently and part of a team
