Full-Time Optometrist
Job Description
seeking a Full-Time Optometrist to join our patient-focused practice. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated doctor who is committed to providing exceptional eye care while building long-term relationships with patients.
Our practice has state of the art equipment for full scope care, including an Optos, OCT, Visual Field, A/B Scan. We also provide specialty dry eye care with Tearcare and Blephex treatments. Our office has easily accessible free parking and is accessible by public transportation.
Practice offers a supportive team environment, modern equipment, and a steady patient base—allowing you to focus on what matters most: patient care.
Ideal candidate must be able to see kids(6 and Up) to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and vision conditions
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and treatment plans
- Educate patients on eye health and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Collaborate with experienced staff to deliver outstanding patient experiences
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school
- Active NY Optometry license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
