Raintree Children & Family Services is currently seeking a Direct Care Worker for our adolescent youth group home.
Available opening:
- Part-time (24-30 hours weekly). Will work 8-hr shifts during overnight hours (11 pm - 7 am), typically 3 or more days per week.

Primary duties include:
- Responsibly caring for, monitoring, and positively engaging with teen residents.
- Working cooperatively with staff to maintain the agency group home operation and supervise residents.
- Assists residents with independent living plans, performance goals, daily living, coordinating activities, and completing household duties. Additional tasks include helping to clean the group home, preparing meals, documenting incidents, and reporting maintenance needs.
- Transporting program participants when needed.
- Supervising teen residents, ensuring the safety and security of the group home and residents to prevent runaways, sex trafficking, and other detrimental behaviors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Candidate must have a High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with youth preferred.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to successfully pass state, local, and federal criminal background checks, motor vehicle records checks, drug screening, and employment verification.
- Three valid professional references required.
- Must be over 21 years of age.

- Behavior Management, Crisis Intervention, and De-escalation
- Incident reporting, resolving conflicts, and documenting occurrences
- Good driving skills required, with the ability to operate small vans/ SUVs safely for resident transport, when needed.
- Supervising Teen residents while providing encouragement and guidance
