Job description:
We are seeking a self-motivated order packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be efficient at packing orders and responsible for packing products for shipment and operating the production line. Able to work in a 35-degree environment.
HOURS:
1st shift: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
3rd shift: 5:45 PM to 3:30 PM
40 Hrs. Weekly, Monday to Friday
PAY RATE : $17.00 - $18 PER HR, depending on the shift.
Duties
- Operate and monitor food production equipment to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
- Inspect products for quality standards and remove defective items.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP)
- Assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods.
- Perform routine sanitation of equipment, tools, and production areas.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Proficiency in using a pallet jack
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Experience in warehouse operations
- Knowledge of packaging techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting issues
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes
