Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform ongoing treatment plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and communication skills development.
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation, including care plans, progress notes, and behavior management reports, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in intervention strategies across settings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care, confidentiality, and medical records management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client behaviors effectively.
- Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to support skill acquisition and behavior management.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient care procedures.
- Understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and documentation requirements for medical records.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
