We're seeking an experienced Project Manager who thrives on collaboration, builds trusted client relationships, and enjoys mentoring design professionals while delivering exceptional work. As a member of the Architectural leadership team, the Project Manager will participate in the implementation of practice growth to achieve operational targets and staff development.
The Project Manager will work with the team providing design and technical guidance. The individual may fulfill the role of project manager or project architect and work with the design team as a mentor to build industry-specific design knowledge.
Essential Functions:
- Provide Pre-design services (if required)
- Support the development of pursuit strategy
- Review scope of work scheduled and budget
- Reviews contract agreement
- Develops contracts with consultants
- Support the development of the staffing plan & communication strategy.
- Initiate project kick off with team
- Interprets client/project goals into design concept
- Develop media and tools for client communications on design intent/concepts (Electronic, Sketch-up)
- Meets with client as required/per the communication plan
- Contributes to project documentation
- Develops CAD/Revit Strategy
- Participate in essential client communications
- Ensure project history/notes are documented
- Ensure code compliance/regulatory agencies
- Leads the schematic and design development including budget coordination
- Develops the construction document outline including specifications
- Coordinates with consultants
- Track scope changes/change orders
- Ensure quality milestone and process are met
- Coordinates activities and documents during construction
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field with 5+ years of experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- Must have advanced presentation skills
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Background in architecture, engineering and/or construction firm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $87,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
