Reservations Manager — Red Hat on the River (Irvington, NY)
Red Hat on the River — a bustling riverfront restaurant with an inside/outside vibe in Irvington, NY — is looking for a dynamic, people-loving Reservations Manager to lead our front desk team. IMPORTANT: This position requires availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

A schedule inclusive of nights, weekends, and most holidays is required, and compensation will be commensurate with experience and availability.
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a Reservations Manager in a restaurant setting is required
- Familiarity with reservations software (OpenTable or similar) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you can charm a full dining room and a frustrated walk-in with equal ease
- A natural problem-solver's instinct and a calm, warm presence under pressure
What you'll own:
- Daily management and placement of future reservations, factoring in guest preferences, historical data, and seasonal flow
- Building the game plan for lunch and dinner service that keeps the whole restaurant running like clockwork
- Managing the real-time flow of walk-ins and reservations, answering phones, and being the friendly voice guests hear first
- Training, mentoring, and leading our host team — a great opportunity to grow into a leadership role as we continue to expand
