Paraprofessional position opening for the 26-27 Instructional Year. We are a small Christian non profit school and located in Ocala, FL. This is a full time position, M-F 8:15am-2:30pm however, this staff member must be able to work until 3pm when needed.
We offer generous paid time off during the following dates: All major holidays, Thanksgiving week, Christmas break, Spring Break, holidays after the 90 day introductory period. Subject to change as needed to fulfill minimum instructional days due to weather, etc.
We do not offer health insurance. We do offer an Employer Health Insurance Stipend to help pay for insurance after the 90 day introductory period.
Position ends on May 19, 2027 (end of the instructional year). There may be an opportunity for summer employment (during the month of June), but this is not guaranteed.
MIN REQUIREMENTS: You must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable experience working as a paraprofessional or teacher's assistant. Additionally, you must pass a Level 2 Background screen to be considered for any position at our non profit school. This is not an offer of employment. Be prepared to spend up to 2 hours onsite interviewing and spending time in one or more classrooms to be considered for employment. Of final note, you must be willing to sign a Statement of (Christian) Faith. All staff members feel led by their Christian Faith to be a community missionary at our school.
