American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a post-acute care setting with potential float coverage to an adjacent inpatient acute care hospital.

Primary work setting is a skilled nursing facility, with training to float to an adjacent inpatient acute care hospital
-
Inpatient only; no outpatient caseload
-
8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday starting at 0800, plus 2 weekend days per month
-
Caseload of approximately 7–9 patients per day

Common diagnoses include CVA, TKA, THA, and COPD
-
Coverage areas include stations A, B, C, and D
-
Cerner EMR used in this position
-
No Rehab Aides, OTA, or PTA support on unit
-
Holiday coverage may be required

13-week contract
-
Active CA Occupational Therapist license required (license required if applicable); pending licenses will not be accepted

Minimum 2 years of OT experience required

Current BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Floor-specific orientation is provided (12 orientation hours)

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
