Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Assistant - Float to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of clinical procedures, medical terminology, and patient care across various specialties. As a floating Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support in outpatient clinic.This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your broad skill set in diverse clinical environments while ensuring exceptional patient service and operational efficiency. Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, measuring vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems).
- Assist with clinical tasks such as specimen collection, wound care.
- Support physicians and healthcare providers with procedures including X-ray assistance.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Support administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, answering multiple phone lines.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow.
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to multitask across diverse clinical environments are critical for success in this role. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
