Rapidoes LLC is seeking experienced and dependable CDL Class A Solo and Team Drivers to join our growing fleet. If you're a safety-focused professional who enjoys long-haul driving and wants consistent miles with a company that values its drivers, we'd love to hear from you.
As an OTR Driver, you'll safely transport dry van freight across the United States while maintaining excellent customer service and complying with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
- Transport dry van freight safely and efficiently.
- Plan and follow assigned routes using GPS and dispatch instructions.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Secure cargo and verify load documentation before departure.
- Complete electronic logs (ELDs) and all required DOT paperwork accurately.
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent Rapidoes LLC with professionalism.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience (required).
- Age 25–55 years preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations, no DUI/DWI, no reckless driving convictions, and no preventable DOT-recordable accidents within the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Ability to operate ELDs and GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hauling dry van freight.
- Previous multi-state OTR driving experience.
- Team driving experience is a plus.
- TWIC Card and Hazmat endorsement are a plus but not required.
