Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as directed by kitchen staff
- Support with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to promote a clean and inviting environment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene compliance across all tasks
- Help with light cleaning duties throughout the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Collaborate with culinary team members during busy service periods, including catering or banquet events
Skills
- Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, including dishwashing equipment and cleaning supplies
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
- Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles within hospitality or hotel settings
