Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Russian Speaking Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in both Russian and English, along with a comprehensive understanding of medical administrative procedures. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting clinical operations with accuracy and efficiency. The successful applicant will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring smooth front desk operations and adherence to healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly in Russian and English, ensuring a positive first impression and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) system Epic
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance authorization, and handle billing processes including medical collection procedures.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing clear information and directing calls appropriately while maintaining proper phone etiquette.
- Utilize computer skills to operate office management software including Microsoft Office applications
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring efficient office management and patient flow.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers in both Russian and English to ensure clarity of instructions and care plans.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role within a clinic or hospital setting is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system Epic
- Knowledge of medical coding including CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 (International Classification of Diseases), ICD coding, and medical billing procedures is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes, Medicare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and documentation review is necessary.
- Strong organizational skills paired with clerical experience including filing, data entry, and managing multi-line phone systems are essential.
