Hiring: Motivated, licensed barber skilled in fades, shaves, and gentlemen’s grooming.
Join the finest team of barbers in Fort Worth.
Hey, my name is George Burrola, aka George The Classic Barber. I’m the founder of The Classic and a master barber with 20 years of experience—classic cuts, fades, edge-ups, hot towel shaves, and the rest.
I started with an empty shop, and got real close to shutting down. Now, we’ve got two locations. I’ve worked for it for sure, but none of this would have gone anywhere without skilled barbers who believed in themselves, loved the shop, and wanted to be a part of a legit community that carries on Fort Worth tradition. The corporate shops treat us like worker bees, expendable. The Classic is the opposite of all that.
Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that working here, your profession has meaning, and when you earn respect, you keep it. That’s the story.
I’m looking for motivated barbers who want to hone their craft, earn a reliable book of clients, and advance their careers. If barbering is your passion, and you’re ready to put in the work for good money, let’s talk.
Here’s what I can offer you:
- A built-in client base.
- Good pay.
- Flexible hours so you can live your life.
- A relaxed, professional shop with good people.
- On-the-job training to improve your skills.
And here’s what I’m looking for:
I have six questions. Say yes to all of them, and you’ll be a good fit.
- Do I have a barber’s license from an accredited school or program?
- Can I produce a clean fade of any and every description?
- Do I have the taste and technique to do right by a client who knows exactly what he wants?
- Am I ready to learn?
- Can I show up on time?
- Is my profession my passion?
Maybe you’re thinking, “I’m working on my license,” and “I have the experience and skills to deliver a great fade, but I don’t feel like a master.” That’s okay. Humility is good. Bring your passion for the trade and an open mind. We’ll get you there.
Good barbering practices that I like to see:
- Keep that workspace clean and organized, like a pro.
- Do what you say and be straight.
- Take time to get beard grooming, cuts, and fades done how the client likes them done.
- Treat clients like they’re famous: “Hey, I need this type of fade.” No problem.
- Be cool.
- Be yourself.
Call (817) 501-1597 if you like what you hear and are ready to start today. Let’s get it.
- George Burrola
