The Graphic Design Specialist position will perform the following duties:
- Proven graphic designing experience
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a portfolio
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies ( Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Highly proficient in all design aspects
- Keeping in mind the mission and strategic goals of the department
- Ability to have fun with there designs!
Primary Responsibilities will include:
- Work with a wide range of media and be proficient in graphic design software, including all Adobe programs
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
- Develop product illustrations, logos, website graphics, etc. as needed
- Ability to carry projects from conception to completion within assigned timelines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to take design direction and positively respond to feedback.
Minimal Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential.
- Experience with video editing software is a bonus.
- Minimum 1-3 years of full time Graphic Design experince
- Previous experience in visual design or related fields is preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work is required for consideration.
