Duties
- Assist in creating detailed drawings and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino 3D
- Develop 3D models and renderings for architectural and interior design presentations using SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and vendors
- Prepare presentation materials with CAD presentation tools and graphic design software to communicate design concepts effectively
- Conduct building code analysis to ensure designs are compliant with local regulations and standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and incorporate feedback into designs
- Assist in renovation and remodeling projects by drafting detailed construction documents and managing design revisions
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, and Bluebeam for drafting and modeling purposes
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, and space planning
- Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project coordination
- Ability to produce high-quality renderings and visualizations that showcase design intent
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Knowledge of building code compliance, construction detail documentation, and renovation processes
- Background in professional art or design is preferred; relevant coursework or internships are a plus
