Southern Christian Services is looking for part-time overnight staff for our Adolescent Home for Female Survivors of Human Trafficking. The hours are Midnight-8am Sunday through Thrusday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma. Experience working with adolescents.
- Ability to plan, keep records, work collaboratively with staff and residents, and follow Agency policies and procedures.
- Must maintain safe driving Record and have personal auto liability insurance ($50K minimum).
- Bachelor's Degree in a Mental Health field preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide supervision of residents to help maintain a nurturing, safe, and consistent environment in the residence.
- Teach independent living skills as assigned.
- Assist Case Managers with transporting residents to and from medical/dental appointments. Obtain medical and dental form and provide to Case Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in facilities and vehicles.
- Complete all necessary reports including daily weekly report.
- Obtain financial receipts and inventory needs as requested by supervisor.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training events.
- Notify the supervisor of any unusual problems, behaviors, attitude changes, illnesses, peer and staff relationships, physical or emotional problems, etc.
- Youth Care Specialist will offer SPARCS, TIP and TAMAR trauma-based group therapy.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
