About the Role
Slick City Action Park is seeking a driven, people-first General Manager to lead all aspects of park operations in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and driving strong financial results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
The ideal candidate brings an ownership mindset, operational discipline, and a passion for building teams while maintaining a culture centered on safety, fun, and accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all daily park operations with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and guest experience
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures
- Drive revenue growth through memberships, parties, events, and year-over-year traffic growth
- Manage the park’s P&L, budgets, and financial targets
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, food safety requirements, and company policies
- Communicate clearly with regional leadership on performance, incidents, and initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of management experience leading teams of 15+ employees
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, food service, or recreation preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution abilities
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
- ServSafe certification (required)
- Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check
Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Full-time, salaried position with a flexible schedule
- Weekend and peak-time availability required
- Ability to remain active for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and respond quickly in emergency situations
