Overview
Tell City Pretzels is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Packaging and Sanitation & Cleaning Associate. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production environment while supporting our food safety and SQF certification requirements. Cleaning activities are performed as daily production and packaging operations conclude.
Duties
- Product Seasoning and Packaging
- Clean and sanitize production, packaging, and warehouse areas according to established procedures.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble designated equipment as required.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and sanitize floors, walls, drains, and work surfaces.
- Remove waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Complete required sanitation records and documentation accurately.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
- Identify and report maintenance, sanitation, or food safety concerns.
- Maintain an organized and inspection-ready facility.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, and walking.
- Prior cleaning, sanitation, manufacturing, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 1pm-7pm.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
