Business Development Representative (K-12 Technology Solutions). Join a company transforming the technology lifecycle for schools.
At K12 Computers, we help school districts maximize the value of their technology from deployment through disposition. We provide certified IT asset disposition (ITAD), device buyback programs, logistics, data destruction, repair services, and technology lifecycle management to K-12 school systems nationwide.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Business Development Representative who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and creating long-term partnerships with school districts, technology leaders, and strategic partners.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities while managing relationships throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and develop new K-12 school district opportunities.
- Build relationships with Technology Directors, CIOs, Purchasing Departments, Finance Departments, and Superintendents.
- Schedule and conduct virtual and in-person discovery meetings.
- Identify customer challenges and recommend technology lifecycle solutions.
- Work closely with internal operations to coordinate pricing requests, logistics, and project execution.
- Manage opportunities through our CRM from initial contact through contract execution.
- Attend regional and national education technology conferences.
- Maintain accurate notes, activities, and follow-up within our CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership on outreach campaigns.
- Build long-term relationships that lead to recurring business.

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
- Experience selling into education, government, or technology markets preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
- Comfortable speaking with executive decision makers
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–40%
Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar is preferred.
