ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions either verbally or in writing.
- Laying out and building of machine control panels, junction boxes, install new electrical circuits and all machine wiring.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and PLC ladder logic.
- Conduct service calls of new and existing machines servicing electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Ability to use hand tools and test equipment common to the trade.
- Monitor Automated Systems using a computer. Troubleshoot the automation system using various PLC programs.
- Responsible for conducting all work in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
- May perform other duties as requested and work with a team.
