Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist with certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide specialized manual lymphatic massage treatments designed to support detoxification, reduce swelling, and promote overall health and well-being. Duties
- Perform manual lymphatic drainage massage sessions tailored to individual client needs, focusing on detoxification and swelling reduction
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and monitor progress over time
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, self-massage techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance results
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care when necessary
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism during all treatments
- Stay current with advances in massage therapy techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to lymphatic health
Skills
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) from an accredited program is required
- Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to lymphatic and circulatory systems
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs compassionately and effectively
Schedule
- On-call availability preferred:
- Wednesday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Additional appointments outside these hours may be available based on client demand.
Qualifications
- Current Massage Therapy license (as required by state law)
- Manual Lymphatic Massage/Drainage Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of professional massage therapy experience
- Professional, dependable, and client-focused
Pay: $58.00 - $65.00 per hour
