Ananeo Colorado provides lifelines and first level support to individuals making the choice to seek a path to stabilized wellness. Our program aims to assist individuals with the fewest resources but who are desirous of making a change. To gain the trust and buy-in of many of our clients, providers who have lived experience have proven to be key elements of our program. Peers providers are the backbone of one of the arms of our program, and this role is for a knowledgeable and interested Licensed Clinician to serve as the nerve center for overseeing and guiding our team of talented QBHAs.
While the primary function is to supervise our QBHAs and to assist in meeting regulatory requirements, this position is part of our Clinical Team, and works as one member of our team of licensed clinicians and closely with our Clinical Supervisor.
Job Summary
This is a position with two primary functions:
- To provide clinical oversight for Peer Support Professionals / QBHAs in accordance with HCPF’s requirements for licensed oversight of services delivered. This role includes facilitating 2–4 weekly group supervision sessions, reviewing and approving documentation, and supporting the professional development of our peer-based team. In addition, to approve the coaching notes submitted by QBHA Professionals in the EHR system.
- To support the development of curriculum and the evolution of services and programming delivered by Peers and QBHAs to individuals living in transitional housing settings in need of SUD and MH support.
- To provide key support during Medicaid and BHA audits by compiling charts, preparing documentation packets, and securely transmitting records. Assists with auditor inquiries related to services, documentation standards, and program workflows. Requires strong attention to detail, EHR proficiency, and clear, professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide Rendering Provider Oversight (RPO) for Peer Support Professionals / QBHAs.
- Facilitate 2–4 weekly group supervision sessions, with 6-12 in each group/cohort, focused on skill development, boundaries, ethics, and recovery‑oriented practice.
- Review, approve, and provide feedback on peer services documentation, ensuring Medicaid and BHA compliance.
- Support peers in developing strong documentation habits, service delivery skills, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain high standards of service quality and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate supervisory records in alignment with HCPF and BHA requirements.
- Participate in occasional team meetings, audits, or quality improvement activities.
- Assist in responses to audit requests from Medicaid RAEs, HCPF, and BHA or other regulating agencies.
Requirements
Active Colorado licensure in good standing as one of the following:
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
LAC credential (preferred as an add‑on to LPC/LCSW).
COPA Peer Supervision credential or equivalent peer‑supervision training/experience.
Eligible to enroll as a Rendering Provider with Health First Colorado (Medicaid). Processing usually takes 7–21 days depending on screening results.
Experience working with Peer Support Professionals, QBHAs, recovery‑oriented services, or behavioral health programs.
Strong understanding of Medicaid documentation standards and trauma‑informed practice.
Familiarity with EMR systems and medical records management, specific familiarity with Reliatrax preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising peer teams or recovery support staff.
- Familiarity with 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Colorado BHA requirements.
- Strong communication, coaching, and documentation skills.
- Ability to balance supportive supervision with compliance‑focused oversight.

Pay: $75,100.00 - $79,500.00 per year
