Restaurant General Manager
Location: Lynbrook, NY
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of a high-volume, full-service restaurant. This hands-on leader will be responsible for driving sales, managing profitability, developing a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop management and hourly team members.
- Drive sales growth while managing food, beverage, labor, and operating costs to achieve financial goals.
- Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
- Develop employee schedules and staffing plans to support business demands.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and company operating standards.
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain quality and control costs.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining high service standards.
- Analyze key performance metrics and implement action plans to improve restaurant performance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Proven success managing P&L, labor, food costs, and operational budgets.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
