We are seeking a proven retail manager to take full ownership of a high-traffic convenience store and fuel location.
This is not just a supervisory role or entry-level managerial position.
This role is designed for someone who can independently run a operations as if it were their own business unit, with accountability for sales, labor, inventory, and operational performance.
What This Role Requires (Non-Negotiable)
You must have experience directly doing most of the following:
· Independently running a convenience store, gas station, or retail location
· Managing full P&L responsibility (sales, labor, shrink, margins)
· Leading and holding staff accountable without owner involvement
· Controlling inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
· Improving store performance (sales + operational efficiency)
· Handling daily operational problems without escalation
If you have only assisted a manager or supervised shifts, this role is not a fit.
Core Responsibilities
· Full ownership of daily store operations (opening/closing/execution)
· Build and manage staffing schedules and labor control
· Hire, train, and retain store associates and shift leads
· Drive inside sales growth and customer experience improvements
· Manage inventory ordering, vendor coordination, and stock control
· Reduce shrink, waste, and operational losses
· Maintain compliance with safety, fuel, and retail standards
· Ensure store presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
· Resolve daily operational issues independently

· Store operates smoothly without owner involvement
· Consistent improvement in inside-store sales
· Controlled labor and shrink metrics
· Stable, well-trained team with low turnover

Ideal Candidate Profile
· 3–7+ years in convenience store, fuel retail, grocery, or QSR management
· Prior experience in Circle K / 7-Eleven / Chevron / independent gas station strongly preferred
· Strong operational discipline and accountability mindset
· Comfortable making decisions without escalation
· Proven ability to stabilize and improve store performance
