The Opportunity
ACE Glass is seeking an experienced Service Manager – Commercial Glazing to lead and grow our commercial glass service and small-project operations in Little Rock.
This role is responsible for estimating, selling, scheduling, and managing service work and smaller commercial glazing projects from initial customer contact through completion.
The ideal candidate understands commercial glazing, can evaluate field conditions, build accurate estimates, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong customer relationships. This is primarily a management and coordination role, with only occasional hands-on field support when needed.
Key Responsibilities

Manage commercial glass service calls and small commercial projects from start to finish.
- Meet with contractors, property managers, building owners, and other customers to assess project needs.
- Perform site visits and develop accurate estimates for glass replacement, storefront systems, doors, hardware, and related work.
- Prepare proposals, review pricing, and help secure profitable work.
- Schedule service crews, coordinate materials, and manage project timelines.
- Work with vendors and internal departments to support successful project completion.
- Monitor project costs, labor productivity, change orders, billing, and profitability.
- Maintain clear communication with customers throughout each project.
- Respond quickly to service needs and help prioritize emergency work.
- Develop new customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Maintain organized records and escalate issues quickly when support is needed.
- Partner with field leadership to improve service response time, efficiency, and accountability.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commercial glazing, storefront systems, glass service work, or a closely related construction environment.
- Strong working knowledge of glass, aluminum storefronts, commercial doors, and hardware.
- Experience estimating and managing commercial service or small construction projects.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and understand field conditions.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable making decisions independently while knowing when to ask for help.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites.
Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with Procore, Plexxis, or similar construction/project management software.
- Experience using Excel and other estimating or project tracking tools.
- Existing relationships with local contractors, property managers, facility directors, or commercial building owners.
