We manufacture retail packaging in Springfield and are looking to add qualified employees as we grow. We have experienced a large amount of growth this year, and we need to find capable new employees to learn a variety of different tasks in our plant.
This job will require:
1. Basic mechanical knowledge - to understand how our equipment operates,
2. The ability to measure samples accurately using a ruler,
3. Solid math skills - the ability to take measurements and input them on equipment,
4. Must be physically able to lift 30-40lbs at a time several times a day,
5. Must be able to bend, lift, and otherwise move somewhat heavy objects (mostly rolls of cut paperboard).
Our systems are heavily integrated in online software. You must be able to efficiently use a computer and jump between different applications. You also need to have good math skills. Lastly, you'll need an upbeat attitude and an eagerness to be productive every day.

The ideal candidate would have some background in manufacturing and understand production under a deadline, or be able to demonstrate an extreme willingness to learn. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
