Esparza Enterprises Inc is seeking a Safety Technician. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn and become part of the Esparza Safety Team!
The Safety Technician-Daily duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Transport injured employee to designated medical facility.
- Must communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, establish and maintain effective relationships with employees.
- Conduct and document safety inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with field management and safety management teams to ensure injury, vehicle, and property damage incidents (cases and claims) are properly managed.
- Assist with the communication, implementation, and oversight of safety-related policies, programs, and procedures.
- Represent and support Operations and Safety during customer visits and interactions.
Qualifications:
- Must be 23 years old to meet company insurance requirements.
- Must have a Valid Class C Driver’s License with at least 4 years of driving.
- Clean DMV Record / no traffic violations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish: read, write, and speak.
- Willingness to travel 75% local and out of town (seasonal).
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Internet, e-mail).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to speak clearly and confidently to employees, supervisors, management, and customers. Must be able to write using proper spelling, grammar, and style.
- Experience in Agriculture in Sheds/Fields is a plus but not necessary.
- Dependable, reliable, and team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
