We have four openings for experienced Swiss Screw Machine operators to work with a machine shop located in the city of Lake Forest. The position is on 2nd shift. Hours are 2:15pm to 10:45pm. Monday - Friday with a pay rate between $18-$25 an hour DOE.
The positions are temp-to-hire and the company offers great benefits (health, vision, dental, matching 401k) once hired.
Swiss Screw Machine Operator duties:
- Type of machines used by the company Screw Mill’s & Lathes
- Loading & unloading parts
- Measure parts to be machined
- Use comparators, tool maker's microscopes, etc.
- Use measuring devices, gage blocks, and dial indicators
- Change between programs & tools
Swiss Screw Machine Operator requirements:
- Experience with analog measuring tools (micrometer, comparator & caliper)
- Experience using mills and lathes
- Must pass background and drug screen
