Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans.
- Lead engaging classes that incorporate choreography, and contemporary dance techniques, and improvisation.
- Manage classroom environments effectively by applying behavior management strategies and fostering positive interactions among students.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, attendance, and classroom activities to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Proven classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Strong background working in contemporary dance.
- Expertise in teaching contemporary dance.
- Ability to teach specialized skills like choreography and contemporary dance techniques.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs or special education requirements.
- Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues in a vibrant educational environment.
