About the Role:
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleanup in our restaurant-style dining room. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to dietary guidelines and regulations, and assisting with meal planning and ordering.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables
Serve meals to residents and ensure that they are satisfied with their dining experience
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
Assist with meal planning and ordering, ensuring that menus meet dietary restrictions and preferences
Maintain accurate records of food inventory and ordering
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food presentation and service
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in food service or dining assistance preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
