Overview
First off, we will teach you everything and this is very niche equipment so we have no expectation of you knowing these trucks functionality and ins and outs. We need someone willing to work, learn, and grow into one of our trusted technicians. We are a division of Renegade Services. We manufacture, repair, and refurbish wireline trucks. With the job entailing carpentry, fabrication, hydraulics, electrical, welding, and so forth. If you don't know some of these trades, it's fine. As long as you possess some blue collar skills it's a simple thing to learn. As long as you have the work ethic, we can teach you everything and will start small with disassembly work and small repairs. We would however, prefer someone with some skills. We are seeking an all-around type of individual that has experience in some minor electrical (12V and 120V simple circuitry). We maintain old equipment as well as new manufacturing.
*You will be expected to work on other parts of the truck with basic mechanical and assembly when there is no a sufficient amount of electrical work to do. At times this could be hydraulics as well. Sometimes there just isn't a lot of electrical issues and you do not need experience for these other types of work, though it would help.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wireline unit.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify issues.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
Experience
Preferred
- Familiarity with 12V DC and 120V AC applications and troubleshooting
- Proficient in using common blue collar tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
We are located by Highway 6 and 21, but will need to be contacted to come by as there is times we are gone in the field and won't be at the shop. You will not be expected to travel unless you wanted to eventually or we got in a bind and had to go overnight to service a unit, but this would all be up to you. Again we will teach you everything and this is very niche equipment so we have no expectation of you knowing these trucks. We will maintain patience in teaching you the details, just be willing to learn and have some base skills. If you are passionate about maintaining high standards of equipment functionality, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Technician with us.
