Swim Instructor Opportunity
My Swim Instructor is currently seeking professional and experienced swim instructors to teach private, semi-private, and small group swim lessons in our clients’ private homes and community pools within your local area and surrounding cities. We provide the clients—you create and manage your own schedule.
About My Swim Instructor
My Swim Instructor is an in-home swim instruction company dedicated to providing a fast and reliable way for families to find personalized, professional, and effective swim lessons for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Lessons take place in the comfort of the client’s own pool.
Our instructors are supported by a dedicated support team that helps ensure your experience with us is smooth and rewarding. You’ll have the opportunity to earn some of the highest wages in the industry while doing what you love and creating positive, memorable experiences for your students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct private, semi-private (2–3 students), and small group (4+) swim lessons
- Coordinate and schedule swim lessons with clients
- Travel to clients’ homes and teach in various pool environments
- Develop customized lesson plans based on each student’s skill level and learning style
- Evaluate students’ abilities, track progress, and adjust lessons as needed
- Provide a safe, fun, and effective learning experience
- Communicate regularly with parents, clients, or caregivers about student progress

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching swim lessons to students of any age
- Demonstrated experience working as a swim instructor
- CPR and First Aid certification
- American Red Cross Safety Instructor or Basic Swim Instructor certification
- Strong swimming ability and solid knowledge of proper swim techniques and water safety
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Contractors must maintain their own liability insurance.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
